How to find to us

DIRECTIONS

From M5 

Leave M5 at J27 ( Tiverton ) and take A361 for 43 miles, across several roundabouts,  to Barnstaple. At Portmore roundabout take 2nd exit signposted A39 to Lynton. Follow this through Barnstaple until you reach the North Devon District Hospital. At this roundabout continue straight on along the A39 for a further 1.5miles, turning right where it is signposted Brightlycott and Roborough. The campsite entrance is after 300 metres on the left. PLEASE NOTE, GOOGLE MAPS WILL SUGGEST TURNING RIGHT AT THE HOSPITAL HOWEVER THIS TAKES YOU UP ROBOROUGH ROAD WHICH IS A NARROW LANE AND NOT SUITABLE FOR CARAVANS AND MOTORHOMES.

From Lynton

Take the A39 towards Barnstaple. At Shirwell continue for 1.5miles until you reach a signpost to Brightlycott. Turn left and the campsite entrance is after 300 metres on the left.

Public transport

Barnstaple railway station is about 3 miles from the campsite. There is a regular bus service from the station to the North Devon District Hospital. From here it is a 1 mile walk up a quiet leafy lane called Roborough Road to reach the campsite. This lane is quite steep in places. Please note that we advise that you don’t walk along the A39 to reach us from the hospital.
